These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and to all orders placed through Meant by Mada Gifts.

For legal purposes, this website and store are operated by Mada Collection Gifts, a business licensed in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Meant is created by Mada Collection Gifts and is used as our customer-facing brand name.

By accessing our website, browsing our products, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please do not use our website or place an order.


1. About our products

Meant offers personalized gifts and products, including items that may be embroidered, engraved, customized, crafted, or prepared after an order is placed.

All products available on our website are personalized and made to order. We do not currently offer ready-made, non-personalized items.

Because each item is created specifically for the customer, production may begin shortly after the order is placed.


2. Orders and order acceptance

When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product according to these Terms & Conditions and the details shown at checkout.

After you place an order, you may receive an order confirmation by email or through the contact details provided at checkout. This confirmation means that we have received your order. It does not mean that we are required to accept or complete the order in all circumstances.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or refund an order where necessary, including where:

  • the product is unavailable;
  • there is an error in the product information, price, or order details;
  • the payment is not completed or cannot be verified;
  • the order contains personalization requests that we consider inappropriate or unsuitable;
  • we are unable to process or fulfill the order for reasons outside our reasonable control; or
  • we reasonably believe the order may breach these Terms & Conditions or applicable laws.

If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will issue a refund to the original payment method, unless otherwise required by law.


3. Personalization details

Customers are responsible for carefully checking all personalization details before placing an order. This includes, where applicable, names, initials, dates, family member names, colors, fonts, design choices, spelling, spacing, capitalization, and any other customization details submitted at checkout.

We produce personalized items based on the information submitted by the customer at the time of order.

We are not responsible for mistakes caused by incorrect, incomplete, or misspelled details submitted by the customer.

At this stage, we may accept Arabic names only when written in English letters. Arabic script personalization is not currently offered.

We do not currently provide design previews or mockups before production. Product photos, examples, and website images are provided to help customers understand the style and nature of the product, but the final item may vary slightly depending on personalization details, materials, screen settings, production process, and handmade or crafted elements.

4. Changes after placing an order

Because our products are personalized and production may begin shortly after an order is placed, customers cannot edit personalization details after placing an order.

Please review your order carefully before completing checkout.

5. Restricted personalization requests

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or refund any order that includes personalization requests we consider inappropriate, offensive, harmful, unlawful, misleading, or otherwise unsuitable for our brand, products, or customers.

If such an order is cancelled after payment has been made, we will issue a refund to the original payment method, unless otherwise required by law.


6. Prices and currency

All prices are shown in AED unless otherwise stated.

We currently sell and deliver within the United Arab Emirates only.

Product prices, shipping fees, and available payment methods are shown at checkout before the order is completed.

We may update prices, shipping fees, promotions, and product availability at any time without prior notice. Changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed, unless there is an obvious error in the listed price or product information.

 

7. Payment

Available payment methods are shown at checkout.

All personalized orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase before they are processed. We do not offer cash on delivery.

Payment may be processed through secure payment providers or platforms used by our website. By completing payment, you confirm that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.


8. VAT and taxes

Mada Collection Gifts is not currently VAT registered.

Unless otherwise stated, prices shown on the website do not include VAT. If our VAT status changes in the future, we will update our website and policies accordingly.


9. Shipping and delivery

Estimated delivery is typically 7–12 business days, including production and delivery.

Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.

Delivery timelines are estimates only. Because products are personalized and made to order, delivery times may vary. Delays may also occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including high order volumes, seasonal peaks, logistics delays, customs or clearance delays, courier issues, supply disruptions, weather conditions, public holidays, or other unforeseen events.

Shipping fees and available delivery options are shown at checkout.

We deliver within the United Arab Emirates only.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information and for being available to receive the order. If delivery is delayed or fails because the customer provided incorrect information, was unavailable, did not respond to delivery communication, or did not complete any required delivery step, we will do our best to assist, but the responsibility remains with the customer.

10. Cancellations

Customers may request cancellation within 4 hours of placing the order by contacting us at info@meant.co.

Cancellation is not guaranteed, because production or fulfillment may begin shortly after an order is placed. If the order has already entered production or fulfillment, cancellation may no longer be possible.

If cancellation is approved, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

 

11. Returns and refunds

Because all products are personalized and made to order, we do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind.

We also do not accept returns or refunds where the issue is caused by customer-submitted details, including spelling errors, incorrect names, incorrect dates, wrong initials, incorrect color choices, or incomplete personalization information.

Returns, refunds, or replacements may be considered only if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect compared with the order details submitted by the customer.

Customers must contact us at info@meant.co within 3 days of delivery and provide clear photo proof of the issue.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. The time required for the refund to appear may vary depending on the payment provider, card issuer, or bank.

12. Product descriptions and images

We do our best to display product descriptions, images, colors, sizes, materials, and personalization options as accurately as possible.

However, we cannot guarantee that your device screen will display colors or textures exactly as they appear in real life. Slight variations may occur due to screen settings, lighting, materials, production methods, handmade elements, embroidery, engraving, or customization requirements.

Measurements, colors, fonts, and design placement may be approximate unless specifically stated otherwise.


13. Product care and suitability

Customers are responsible for using products safely and appropriately.

Where product care instructions are provided, customers should follow them carefully. We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, improper care, normal wear and tear, incorrect washing, incorrect storage, accidental damage, or failure to follow care instructions.

Some products may include small parts, decorative elements, or materials that are not suitable for unsupervised use by babies or young children. Customers are responsible for supervising use and ensuring that products are suitable for the intended recipient.


14. Customer accounts

Customers may be able to check out as guests or create an account, depending on the website settings available at the time of purchase.

You are responsible for keeping your account login details confidential and for all activity under your account.

If you believe your account has been used without authorization, please contact us as soon as possible.

 

15. Website use

You agree not to use our website for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or disruptive purpose.

You must not attempt to interfere with the operation, security, availability, or functionality of the website.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to our website where we reasonably believe a user has breached these Terms & Conditions or used the website improperly.


16. Intellectual property

All website content, including brand names, logos, product names, text, images, graphics, designs, layouts, and other materials, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or use our website content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

When submitting personalization details, names, wording, or design instructions, you confirm that you have the right to use them and that they do not infringe any third-party rights.


17. Third-party services and partners

We may use trusted service providers and partners to operate our website, process payments, produce personalized products, fulfill orders, deliver shipments, provide analytics, and support marketing activities.

We do not need to own or operate every stage of production, fulfillment, payment processing, or delivery ourselves in order to complete your order.

Your order details may be shared with relevant partners where necessary to process, personalize, fulfill, and deliver your order.

18. Marketing communications

Where permitted, we may send marketing communications by email or other channels based on the contact details and consent provided by the customer.

Customers may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe option provided in the communication or by contacting us.

Transactional messages related to orders, payments, delivery, or customer service are not considered marketing messages and may still be sent where necessary.


19. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mada Collection Gifts, Meant, and Meant by Mada Gifts shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of business, loss of opportunity, or loss of data arising from the use of our website, products, or services.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

Our responsibility for any order will not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the affected product, except where the law requires otherwise.


20. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control.

This may include, but is not limited to, logistics delays, customs or clearance delays, supply chain disruption, courier delays, technical issues, payment provider issues, public holidays, weather conditions, emergencies, government actions, restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Where such circumstances affect an order, we will do our best to keep the customer informed and support a reasonable solution.

 

21. Changes to these Terms & Conditions

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version published on our website at the time of order will apply to that order, unless a change is required by law or by an authority.

Customers are encouraged to review these Terms & Conditions before placing an order.


22. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applicable in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Any disputes shall be handled by the competent courts or authorities in the United Arab Emirates, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
